Moon Webcam

The Moon, Earth's sole natural satellite, orbits at 384,400 km, approximately 30 times Earth's diameter. This live video stream from NASA's Eyes allows you to see the contrast between the bright and dark areas of the lunar surface, full of impact craters, hills and depressions, as well as the Earth rising above the horizon of the Moon. This was what Neil Armstrong saw when he stepped onto the Moon surface, in 1969, saying "one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind".
