This picturesque live view comes to you from the mountain village Finse, in Norway . In display is the Finse railway station - the highest station on Norway railway network, as the village is 1,222 metres (4,009 feet) above sea level! Finse station is crucial to the village as there is no access here by road, except walking and cycling paths. The webcam gives you a glimpse of the significant Rallar Museum, on the right side of the image. The museum is related to the history of the Bergen railway, under construction from 1871 and 1909. On the left-hand side of the scenery there is the cozy hotel Finse 1222, one of the few resorts in the village. Finse is beautifully set on the shore of the Lake Finsevatnet and, approximately 5 kilometres to the south, is the huge glacier Hardangerjøkulen!
